Google Introduces the #myAndroid Taste Test to Build your Homescreen

The main reason to prefer android over iOS is customization options of UI. You can customize user interface through custom launchers, icon packs, wallpaper, and many more things according to your needs and taste.

Some people get extensive choice to change the user interface. And if you are among those people then you are having a chance of google ‘s new myandroid taste test. This is a new website which asks a series of questions in a quiz that will help you to organize homescreen according to your answers. This quiz literally takes your few minutes to answer, and most of the questions only require you to pick between two choices.

The choices are animated GIFs or pictures to make it easy to visualize the kind of theme you’re more preffering towards, and the questions asked are between a vibrant versus muted picture, light versus dark picture, patterned versus random, and even some odd questions such as deciding whether or not a picture is showing two hot dogs or a pair of legs.

After the completion of this quiz, you are shown three homescreen choices to select from. These consist of a wallpaper, a launcher, widgets, and an icon pack that you can download from the Google Play Store, based on the algorithm’s recommendations. The recommendations are not limited to only Google’s offerings, and can include seemingly any third-party option from the Play Store.

If you are not satisfied with your choices, you can join this test again to make something different according to your taste. If you are satisfied with how your new homescreen looks, then you can share your results for others to know. Google provides a link to the results page that you can share with you friends and other users, so they can also open the same things without your help anymore.
